The Method
The Power of EFT
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), also known as "Tapping," is a self-healing tool based on the premise that emotional trauma contributes greatly to disease and distress. EFT can rapidly reduce — or completely remove — the emotional impact of traumatic memories and invasive thoughts.

What Makes EFT So Powerful?
It really isn't something difficult — it's just not taught in our society.
We aren't taught to really feel our emotions, to give those old stories and pain a chance to finally be fully heard and felt.
In the wild, an animal doesn't hold on to traumatic experiences — they feel it, and in doing so, they release it. We've accumulated pain, traumas, beliefs and experiences that hold us back from living fully.
EFT helps you process them out — much quicker than talking it out.
How EFT Works
EFT works with the body's own energetic wiring system — the acupuncture meridians. By gently tapping along these points while speaking about what's bothering you, you access your brain's neural networks and connect with subconscious programming that's been running beneath the surface.
The Meridian System
Thousands of years ago, the ancient Chinese discovered energy pathways that run through the body like an electrical circuit. The energy that flows through these circuits — also known as qi, chi, or prana — is believed to sustain all life. There are twelve principal meridians organized in pairs, each connected to an organ.
Clearing Emotional Baggage
EFT can clear old emotional baggage — shame, fear, grief, anger — emotions stored in the body's energy system. When subconscious blocks of anxiety, fear, and negative beliefs are cleared, you are liberated and able to achieve what you truly desire.
Accessing Subconscious Patterns
Most of what runs us lives beneath conscious awareness. EFT reaches the inherited beliefs, family patterns, and old programming that keep us stuck. It makes it possible to literally redesign your life.
Natural & Non-Invasive
There are no drugs or equipment involved. EFT can be easily learned by anyone, making it a perfect complement to any therapeutic treatment. It works to enhance your body's ability to self-correct and create balance on every level.

What People Report After EFT
Common Questions
Is EFT safe?
EFT is safe because it is natural and non-invasive. It is self-paced, so you go at your own speed and work with only what you are ready to address. There are no artificial chemicals involved — you're using the body's built-in, natural healing system.
What's an EFT session like?
People can experience sudden realizations, lost memories returning, or discomfort moving around and out of the body. Others may feel energized or just instantly better. When you've done EFT thoroughly enough, you typically feel lighter, more peaceful, and more emotionally stable.
How many sessions do I need?
Most people experience noticeable improvement within 10 to 30 minutes of beginning to tap. Many basic issues may be resolved in just one session. Some deeper issues may take several sessions, along with follow-up tapping you'll learn to do on your own.
What if I don't know what my problem is?
EFT can help eliminate the stress and negative feelings coming up for you today, as well as helping you discover what's behind it. Often, bigger issues emerge during tapping — and that's exactly what's supposed to happen.
Can I do EFT on my own?
Yes! Anyone can learn EFT as a self-help tool. While working with a practitioner helps you go deeper, you can also tap on your own for everyday stress, anxiety, and emotional triggers.
The Science Behind EFT
EFT has moved from a fringe therapy to widespread professional acceptance. Ongoing research shows EFT reduces the emotional impact of traumatic memories, often in fewer than six sessions, with results that appear to be long-lasting.
Key Research Findings
- EFT has been shown to significantly reduce cortisol levels (the stress hormone) in controlled studies
- Veterans with PTSD showed 63% reduction in symptoms after 6 EFT sessions
- EFT meets the American Psychological Association's standards for evidence-based treatment
- Over 100 published studies demonstrate EFT's effectiveness for anxiety, depression, and PTSD
